How mobile service works
Tell us the year, make and model, what is damaged, and where the vehicle will be. The technician brings what the job needs to that spot and does the work there — the same materials and the same job it would be anywhere else, without you having to drive a damaged car to it.

Where the work can be done
A driveway, a garage or a parking space usually works, as long as there is room to open the doors and work around the vehicle. If the car will be at your workplace, check that it can stay where it is for the job and for the time the work needs afterwards before it is driven.

Weather and drive-away time
The adhesive that holds a windshield in place has a minimum safe drive-away time, and cold or wet weather affects how it cures. For outdoor work, tell us where the car will be parked when you book so the job can be planned around it. Your installer will tell you when it is safe to drive.

Services
Everything we handle
Send the vehicle details with your quote and we'll identify the correct replacement glass before anything is scheduled.
How it works
Three steps, we come to you
Tell us what broke
Send the form or call. Your VIN or plate gets us the exact glass for your vehicle, including whether it carries a camera, rain sensor or heating element.
We check your coverage first
Before anything is scheduled we confirm what your policy covers — or give you a straight cash price — so the price you hear is the price you pay. No claim is filed until you say go.
We come to you
Your driveway, your office lot, your job site — wherever the vehicle is. We fit the glass and tell you when it's safe to drive.
Insurance
Florida law is on your side here
Glass coverage sits in the comprehensive part of your policy — and we help you confirm what yours covers.
Glass claims in Florida
Florida law says a comprehensive policy issued in this state cannot apply its deductible to windshield replacement. If you carry comprehensive, a windshield normally costs you nothing out of pocket.
That applies to the windshield specifically. Door glass and back glass go through your ordinary deductible.
Call us with your policy number and we will check your coverage with you before you commit to anything — and give your carrier everything they need: the exact glass, the part numbers and a written quote.
Paying cash
Not going through insurance? You get a straight price up front, before any work starts — no surprises when the job is done.
General information only, not advice about your policy — coverage depends on the policy you hold, so check with your carrier. We are an independent auto glass company and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any insurance company. Your choice of repair shop is yours to make.

Our work
The kind of work we do
Focused on Windshield Replacement
Diamond AutoGlass focuses on one service: windshield replacement. The team brings the replacement glass and installation equipment to the vehicle throughout its Central Florida service area.
Every job begins with the vehicle details and a clear quote. After installation, the technician explains the safe drive-away time for the adhesive used that day.

When a Windshield Needs Replacement
A windshield with a spreading crack, edge damage, or damage in the driver’s primary view may need to be replaced rather than repaired. Diamond AutoGlass evaluates the vehicle information and the damaged glass before scheduling the job.
The replacement is matched to the vehicle and its installed equipment. The customer receives the price before work is booked.

Mobile Windshield Replacement
Diamond AutoGlass provides mobile windshield replacement from its Sanford base throughout its Central Florida service area. The work comes to the vehicle, so customers do not have to drive with a damaged windshield.
A level parking space with room around the vehicle helps the installation go smoothly. Weather and site conditions can affect scheduling, and the team confirms what is needed before the appointment.

What to Expect on Installation Day
The technician confirms the replacement glass, removes the damaged windshield, prepares the bonding surface, and installs the new windshield with automotive urethane.
The adhesive needs time to reach safe drive-away strength. The exact wait depends on the product and conditions that day, so the technician provides the safe drive-away time before the vehicle is used.

Questions
Frequently asked
What do you need from me to quote a windshield?
Year, make, model and body style to start, plus whatever is mounted on or behind the glass. Tell us if there's a camera at the mirror, a rain sensor, heating at the wiper park, an antenna in the glass, or a shaded band along the top — those decide which part your car takes. Describe where the damage sits and how big it is. Our line can't receive texts, so it's a phone or in-person conversation.
What happens to my old windshield and the trim around it?
The old glass is cut loose and taken away with the job unless you tell us before we start that you want to keep it. The old urethane isn't scraped to bare metal; it's trimmed back to a thin, even base, because fresh adhesive bonds best to it. Mouldings, cowl trim and clips come off to get the glass out, and some of those parts are made to be replaced rather than reused. We'll tell you when yours are.
Is my car safe to drive as soon as the glass is in?
Not the instant it's set. The urethane bonding the glass to the body has to reach enough strength to hold that glass in a crash, and the installer on your job gives you the exact safe drive-away figure for the adhesive used that day. Temperature, humidity and the specific product all move that number. Until you're cleared, leave the car parked, and when you do drive, crack a window before shutting a door so cabin pressure doesn't shove on fresh glass.
Can it get rained on or go through a car wash?
Rain is fine — the bond is sealed and weathertight before the car goes back to you. What we ask you to hold off on is a pressure washer or an automatic wash with brushes and high-pressure jets, which drive water straight at the glass edge and can lift fresh mouldings or tear retention tape. Hand washing, with the spray kept off the edges, is the safer route. Leave any tape where it is until your installer says it can come off.
What if something isn't right after the job?
Bring the car back to us and tell us exactly what you're seeing. Wind noise or a whistle at speed, water in a corner during heavy rain, a rattle out of the trim, a wiper that chatters across the new glass — we would much rather have the vehicle in front of us than guess at it. Tell us when it happens and what you were doing, because that points at the cause. Our line doesn't take texts, so please give us a call.
Will filing a glass claim raise my rates?
Glass damage is handled under the comprehensive part of your policy, not collision or liability, and comprehensive claims are generally treated differently from an at-fault accident. Every carrier and policy is different, though, so your carrier is the one who can confirm it for yours. Either way, nothing is filed until you tell us to.
Should I use insurance or just pay cash?
In Florida, a comprehensive policy cannot apply a deductible to a windshield replacement, so for most drivers going through insurance costs nothing out of pocket. If you do not carry comprehensive, we will give you a straight cash price instead — and either way you get the number before any work starts.
